She is a Certified
Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapist. In addition,
she trained for several years with Natalie Rogers, PhD, founder of the
Person-Centered Expressive Therapy Institute and developer of
the Creative Connection process.
She has completed the
five levels of training in Sandtray Worldplay,
with Gisela S. De Domenico, PhD, who developed this approach to sand play
and spent an additional
five years in a training group with Gisela.
She studied Jungian
psychology and dreamwork intensively with Strephon Kaplan
Williams, author of the "Jungian-Senoi Dreamwork
Manual" and "Dreamworking". She has been working
with her own dreams for over 25 years, and has led many dream
groups and workshops.
In addition, she has
studied Focusing, Self-Acceptance Training, Process-Oriented
Psychology and is certified in Hypnotherapy. She has been a
licensed psychotherapist (#MFC19279) in private practice since
1984.
She brings to her work
a depth of understanding from ceremony, spiritual practice and
vision quests. Through her own inner work and working with her
clients, she has found that when we move beyond talking about our
concerns into active self-expression and creativity,
we activate our creative self, tame the Inner Critic and
find all
we need for a joyful, soul-satisfying life through our connection
with our own souls and with Spirit.
